Arriving by bus directly
to Egirdir
Several
bus companies go to Egirdir bus-station from any town or city in Turkey.
Most lines stop in the bus station but some drop you off opposite the
bus station at the edge of the town centre.
When you arrive:
- If you phone ahead with your travel details (bus company, time of arrival)
we can pick you up at the right time from the bus-station ,
- Or make a phone call on arrival; we will pick you up. We'll give you
a free lift,
- You can get help from the TOURISM OFFICE in the centre!,

Arriving from Isparta Bus-station
Some bus companies sell you a ticket for Egirdir, but sometimes they
put you off the bus at Isparta bus station. DON'T WORRY! Check if any
other companies have departures to Egirdir (another 34 km) and buy your
ticket.
OR: If the 1st option doesn’t work, ask the company that brought you to
Isparta for a free lift to “Village bus station” but check the time (the
village bus station operates between 07.00-19.00) if you choose this option.
If you are late, please call us, so that we can pick you up from Isparta
bus station.
Arriving by air
(Antalya Airport)
There are four options for getting here from the Airport;
BY BUS
From Antalya Airport Terminal to Antalya bus-station, get a recommended
taxi, it’s about 25 km. Taxi drivers may try to tell you some stories,
but don’t believe them!!! Between 08.00-23.30; there are buses to Egirdir
from Antalya bus station.
PRIVATE TRANSFER
It takes around 45 minutes. It must be arranged. We can arrange this.

TAXI
From Antalya Airport to Egirdir is 160 km. It costs about $100
HIRE CAR
There are several car hire companies at all the airports.
Arriving by train
Trains are slow but reliable. It is a nice way to discover the Turkish
countryside. There is a direct train to Istanbul every day from. It leaves
at 17:45 and arrives at Haydarpasa on the Asian side of the Bosphorus
at 08:00 the next day.
Isparta Gare: Tel: 2181301. A service runs every day to Denizli (Pamukkale)-Aydin
(Marmaris/Kusadasi)-Seljuk (Ephesus).It leaves at 22:00 pm.
